My name is Vic Dinovici and I have a passion for photography for many years. Although I don’t have the claim of entitling myself a professional photographer, yet I live with the feeling that I have got beyond the beginner uncertainty when it comes about photography.
Web Developer by profession, I've got this passion for photography long time ago, when, under some circumstances which had finally proved to be favourable to me, I gave up working as a sketcher- designer for one of the local papers in favour of a job as photo and PC operator. From that time I've got more and more involved in Web projects and after a while I moved completely into the Web 2.0 area and starting working as a Front End Web Developer for a sum of companies here in my city, Toronto.
Since working in web development I am keeping photography as a hobby but also as a way of earning my living, trying to combine pleasure and utility, I am always looking for new ways of expressing through artistic pictures.
For the moment, I use a Nikon but also a digital Canon; and I do hope that in the future I’ll acquire more performing cameras. Among the photographers I admire most, I’d like to enumerate only a few names: Al Magnus, Mircea Bezergheanu, Siro Anton, Tudor Pantilimonescu… If I were to name several sites I particularly like, I would name: www.photo.net, www.badorgood.com, www.photoforum.ru, www.narcisvirgiliu.ro, www.photoblink.com, www.seth-design.com. I also do photographic retouch for old and torn pictures and recolored black&white photos.
I'm looking forward to getting feed-back about my work; I am interested in getting advice but critics also and in a possible collaboration in the photographic art domain.
